Only one DQ, and that was on my squad. He swept himself while putting down the baby (don't ask). Lots of steel and reactives, one very creative and sadistic use of a no-shoot and steel.
I shot pretty well, considering that I haven't shot an IDPA match in about a year and half. Steels weren't much of a problem, but I managed to center-punch one no-shoot, and earned all sorts of procedural penalties.

Well I'm not ON my shield but I didn't place (but hey I'm unranked). I made it through the second stage of one - one one speed steels before I was eliminated by one of our SO's.. (39 shooters and I had to draw one of the finalists). The FEG worked well but I did have a wierd jam from a borrowed magazine (nickeled triple k 13 shot). Dropped it back in the range bag and no worries thereafter.
Stage designs were fun and complex..
Shoot 12 badguys on the run with no cover, only concealmet. (inside a plane)
Shootout at the baggage claim. (wacth out for the hidden hostage)
Lions and Tigers and bears Oh My (you wake up to the sounds of your hiking buddy being eaten by zombie werewolf mutant bears.. half the targets were placed sideways. (based on the way I shot that ALL my targets should be placed sideways).
Poopy Day: you are accosted by kidnappers while changing a diaper. Start one hand on babby.. one hand full of poopy diaper. get the baby to safety.
Cashing in. (Blind) you are follwing your S/O into the bank when you hear screams and gunshots.. open the door and.. (btw the door is NOT cover) Engage a couple of targets, remember to look way downrange, the first stell you hit makes 3 more targets pop up.. the spinning bad guy whose head keeps popping out? Well I was SURE I missed him. (On later inspection I ventilated his noggin 5-6 times) Hidden bad guys hiding LOW. Look everywhere. Very fun.
Cirus circus: You are pouring coffe at the concession stand when bad guys demand your money and shoot a by-stander to make thier point. Engage from contact range. Transition and seek cover. Oh there is a texas star concealed behind a barrier so only one spinner shows at a time.. and a spinning drop steel. MISSED IT. good luck!
Hold The anchovies: You are delivering pizzas to a crack house and saw too much! Contact range. Drop pizzas, Engage, retreat to cover of car, one of the poppers engages a drop swinger this time I hit it FOUR times (hey, I carry a nine)
Stuff to work on:
After an all day set up and all day shoot my fingers are SORE, going to work on finger strength. Tried to show off the magnum carry at the end of the day and yuck, pulling the DA trigger I noticed I was getting the shakes.
Front sight focus: I'm still missing too many steels on the first shot, think I'll re-paint my sights.
Trigger pin slipping : think the FEG has had enough rds downrange its time to replace my springs, the trigger spring isn't holding the trigger pin firmly in place and its drifting to the right after 3 mags or so.
Stuff that I did well:
Animal targets, texas star, retention shots, mag changes, malf. clearences, etc. Good safe handling.
Oh and I picked up a really nice hand boned holster and mag pouch for my Commander (worth $50 bucks) I'll post a photo soon. ;)

I'm going to have to get into it just for the exercise. 'Scuse me if I drop the baby & throw the poopy diaper at the perps. ;)

I'm not sure if anyone threw the diaper but you were NOT allowed to throw/drop the baby.
Would that count as biological/chemicalwarfare?
