How can you tell which Mark (VII or XIX) a Desert Eagle is?

Check this site. It's full of info on DE's. Got a Mk19 .50AE myself and love it. Big, heavy and expensive but a whole lot of fun.

Jake after looking at the site i dont see that there is much difference between the 2. So lets assume it is the VII, can you put the 50ae. XIX barrel kit on it?

I just saw the answer to my own question:

*The Mark XIX Desert Eagle .44 Magnum pistols are convertible to other Mark XIX calibers (.50AE/.440) by simply switching barrel and magazine; to go to the .357 you also need to switch the bolt assembly.
