What subject sets leftists off?

I know more than a few of you on here either lurk or troll on some leftist/"progressive" boards...so here's my questions:
1. What issue are they most inflexible on? (My opinion: abortion)
2. What subject is most likely to set them off on an incoherent rant? (which of course, can be be quite funny if you can avoid being nauseated by it.) My vote here goes to anything Bush related

Abortion is an issue that crosses a lot of ideological boundaries, and is probably not a good "bait".

From personal experience--surprise!--it's gun rights. The hysteria
threshold is pretty low on that one.
Second would be the right to just say no to the various forms of wealth
transfer that have become the foundation of "entitlements." Do so
and you are deemed "mean."

I find it peculiar that the people who so loudly advocate "a woman's choice" equally loudly advocate preventing law-abiding American citizens the choice whether to keep and bear arms.

Personal Responsibility.
Self-reliance.
Big Government.
Definition of "the people" in the 2nd amendment, and how its different from in the 1st, 4th, and others.
Welfare.

What subject sets leftists off?Invariably the subject of how they can kiss my shiny white ??? comes up. Quite often that will set them off.

Reverse that statement. 'I find it peculiar that the people who so loudly advocate RKBA equally loudly advocate preventing law-abiding American citizens from exercising ''a woman's choice.'''
Both sides appear ridiculous when trying to ''set each other off''. Try behaving like adults.

Any college or university level ethics class. Especially when the prof gets to the subject of Relativism and why it is useless in a classroom. I actually thought one girl's head was going to explode when she realized that the basis for her thought was deived from a severely flawed premise.

Duncan, I seemed to forget to mention that one. Thanks for reminding me of another subject that sets local liberals off: the subject of kissing my phosphorescently-shiny white ???.

Largely the same thing that "sets off" self-styled rightwingers i.e. "I am right. You are wrong. Therefore, you are evil." Grow up. If you have nothing better to fill your time than trolling "left wing" boards, then you need to get a life.

Point out that Nixon founded the EPA. Reagan funded the Warsaw Pact with more foreign aid than his predecessor, and that generally all the leftists' "villains" have followed leftist policies.
This subject can be a real time-saver because it puts "right-wingers" into a froth too... if you want to put me into a froth, just ask "if you're so smart why ain't you rich?" Ancient, yet just as effective as in 20,000 BC.
Ben Franklin points out in his autobiography that you don't make friends (or money) by "winning" arguments, and if I were smart I guess I would take his advice...

1. Probably abortion, if not maybe the right of the minority of the month to be advanced beyond the rest of us.
2. Whatever guilt is driving the particular leftist to propose the government take YOUR money and spend it for THEIR benefit.

Ronald Reagan being the greatest President of the twentieth century and Carter and Clinton are in a dead heat for the moron of the century award.
You might also mention that they are a bunch of tax raising, gun grabbing, baby killing, dope smoking, dirt bags. WELLL!!! If that does not get a riot going then I don't know what will save that saying Hillary is a(insert your witty comments here). :neener:  :D

The fact that abortion is nothing more than the cold blooded murder of a child will probably do it. They go ape trying to say it's not.

Better then abortion is asking why they don't call themselves "pro-death" rather then "pro-choice"... And SJ /G13, self-defense doesn't usually involve killing an unborn.
Sorry, sometimes my evilrightwingself overwhelms my more betolerentofliberalsself. :neener: Ooops, there it goes again. :D

That wasn't really my point - although it has always bugged me that many pro-death penalty people are also anti-abortion. Killing is killing when it comes down to it.
I like this board, I don't want this board spammed with mindless ''Guns are bad mmmkay?'' nonsense. Perhaps they don't want their boards spammed with mindless ''trolling'' either. This kind of thing is something I feel the admin here should be discouraging from being talked about openly here, it only makes this board a potential target. This is the second thread I have seen like this recently (and only joined recently.)
My initial point was - when people go out to cause ideological friction they usually end up making their ideology look as stupid to the neutral (me) as they could ever make the other persons.

killing an unborn.
You know, in the stages when somebody doesn't have a brain yet, I have no problem with "killing" him (him?).

Yeah, if the Bible can't do it, how could we? The Bible clearly supports killing the unborn in two places: in the case of stoning of adulteresses (no, it doesn't say to remove the embryo and freeze it first), and in the case of suspected adultery (where you are supposed to force the woman to consume the ergot-laden "dust from the threshing room floor"). And of course this isn't even counting the places where it says to kill everyone in an ethnic group, unborn or born.
So if you want to be against abortion, fine; but you can't blame your views on Yahveh. (Only on those who give him daily guidance).
