I see alot of you tube videos and wonder how many 7.62x39 rounds with fast reloads would it take to seriously begin to erode an ak barrel's throat area. Any ideas?

Considering the AK platform is originally a full auto firearm, I'd say it would take a LOT.

People worry about their AK's way too much.

Would 200 rounds rapid fire in 5 minutes degrade long term accuracy at all?

Ummm NO , I have several thousand rounds through my WSAR-10 , I bump firing it while using a 75 round drum and after 4 years of rapid fun blastin its still MOM (Minute of man) accurate . Besides AK weren't design with AR levels of accuracy in mind .

I fired three thirty round mags through my WASR and got a nasty blister on my forearm when it touched the barrel. The wood started to smoke, too.
