Anyone using this load? Comments? Warnings??

Remington Brass (Soon to use Lake City)
Hornaday 55g FMJBT
H4895 - 25.3g
WSR primers.

Did a test run of a few through a new Armalite and everything functions fine.
Anything wrong with cooking up a large batch of this load?

Any problems using this load in the LC brass? I understand that the internal volume may be less than commmercial brass.

The Hodgdon manual shows maximum load with H4895 as 26.0 gr. Your load would proberly be safe, but I would back off maximum by at least 5% and work up to your 25.3 gr a 1/2 gr a time, checking for pressure signs along the way. Be a safe shooter and a safe reloader. :)

Don't have the load data handy, but I seem to recall getting the best accuracy with something very similiar and 24.5gr of IMR4895 in LC brass. YMMV.

I think you should do a work up on the LC brass before committing to a large run of it, but it looks like you are under the max load, so it's not like you're pushing the limits and changing components at the same time.

The load I use the most in my ARs is:

LC brass sized on RCBS small base die.
26.0 gr AA2230
whatever 55gr FMJBT is the cheapest
CCI 400 primers

Seems to function best for cycling my guns and no pressure problems signs.

I didn't have much luck with 4895 and 55gr FMJs. Actually I didn't have much luck with 55gr FMJs at all. I switched to 52gr HPBT Match and W748 in my 1:9 RRA and I am very happy now. I loaded up some 55gr Hornady FMJ with TAC and WSRs and they made for great 3 gun rounds for him. Looks like the range of powder I was working in with that powder though.
