To those who hunt in this Federal Land, are you allowed to do field dressing of harvested deer or hog in the immediate kill area? I read the rules only says it has to be tagged (for deer ) and must be checked for weight at their designated Ranger Station. Does that mean you are not supposed to gut out the game bec it might not be the real weight?
Or field dressing should be done off the Federal Land as not to leave biological trash in the meaning of the word?

You certainly may field dress right there. If you don't you will ruin the meat. Just don't leave the gut pile right on the trail....it's nasty to walk past. Voice of experience here....
