are there any rimfire rifle or pistol events in Kansas specifically NE kansas.

I used to live in Ottawa County. I competed in NRA Conventional Pistol (2700) matches at the Capital Gun Club in Whitewater (near Wichita). Hardly NE Kansas, but that's all I know about.
