I've been kicking around using one of these bullets for elk hunting, but they seem so very similar in design.

Is one truly better than the other or are they so close in design that there is no appreciable difference between the two??

Nosler is WAY cheaper.

It'd be for my boring ole .308.

The A-Frames jacket is bonded to the core. I dont know about the Nosler. But on the other hand both have killed pretty much everything thats walked this earth since theyve been around.

in a 308 you won't notice any difference. just run 180 hornadys and go forth and kill. an alternative to that would be a 165 barnes x... however, in a 308 i wouldn't mess w/ any of those. standard cup-n-core will do fine.
