Do you think we could have a permanent thread called FAQ??
Being new here i would be willing to bet i am asking questions that have been asked a million times over. (yes i use the search it just can be very random most of the time)
so in this thread i thought people could add their 2 cents.
with things like:
cleaning tips
best websites for mags, ammo, and whatever else.
and answers to questions that get asked over and over again.
just a thought
Jeremy

Hmmm. Pretty good idea.
I know a lot of forums for computer graphics designers often have a section similar to this, links to tutorials, websites with examples of good design, and information related to breaking into the design biz.

My main problem with this is that editorial selection is involved, and not all posts in an otherwise classic thread stand the test of time as classic - it's mostly the small kernals that make for the best reading.
Some forums have a separate "FAQ" section, where key information is archived - I like this better than a 'stuck' post.
One idea using available tools: if anyone wants to start a 'best of' thread or a FAQ, all that is needed is for the thread to be bumped to stay 'stuck' - to a degree.
Dave McCracken has done an excellent service by providing Links to old TFL threads (http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2766) in his Shotgun forum. Dredging TheFiringLine.com is always a joy. Some amazing threads there.
