Just wanting a Daniel Boone looking Davy Crockett type rifle that works for a couple hundren bucks.

Is there such a thing?

Big Daddy K, Your price constraints will have you choosing either Traditions or CVA. You didn't mention if you wanted a sidelock percussion or a flintlock. You should decide on a caliber too. The guns you wish for are still readily available at the various rendevous around the U.S. The most prominent is held in the Spring and Fall in Friendship Indiana. The Springtime shoot is the most prestigious and the best attended. It would be a long trek from Texas but it is a once in a life time experience. So save your money do a little research and come on up. The event lasts for two weekends and the week inbetween.
