You have every right to post them here.
This is the Rifle Forum and you don't need a poll.

Always interested in different finishes, camouflage included.
Here's my first try - only because the wood was so plain.
The wood was nothing but plain. Great excuse to experiment. A few cans of krylon and a piece of cardboards with some holes in it later.

I want to see.

I happen to have pictures of that very rifle. Correia had me take a bunch today. You do fine, fine work. That Sage Camo pattern really breaks up the image of the rifle. Be hard to spot from any kind of distance. You won't find many High Roaders opposed to gratuitous pictures. :D
I wonder how it would look on a Holland and Holland safari rifle?
Haha. Just wanted to see you all go !!!!!
But seriously, that is a fantastic job. If I had any sort of TUBAR rifles, i'd be sending them in.

Thanks 19-3Ben. I've done simular jobs on bolt action rifles as well.

Here is my son's camo job based on what he learned in the sand box.
So, how much to send mine in?

I'll shoot you a private message with the info.

FBMG, he said "your welcome!"
Hokkmike, he is like any other artist. He has to be in the "mood", so you would need to send your rifle in and plan on it being with him for a few years!

Actually it's only about a week turn around time guys.

No, I don't think it would be appropriate at all to show pictures of guns on here. I would be highly offended.:fire:
LOL, EXCELLENT job buddy...That camo looks fantastic! How well does it hold up?
March 23, 2008, 01:14 AM
It holds up quite well. You do need to go easy with it for a while (light duty) because DuraCoat continues to cure up to 3 weeks. After that it takes a lot of abuse. That's why I pioneered the use of it with the Dept. of Energy when I worked for them.

Great job guys. I just finished my Mosin Nagant this morning. I gave $20. for it 2 weeks ago. Couldnt see thru the barrel. Week of scrubbing, now she is burning up surplus ammo. Was a black beast, untill I looked at some camo jobs around the site and others. Here is the results(oh yeah, my wife helped me:p)4 spray cans, 1 roll of tape. Sorry for the little picture. Will try again later.

Nightcrawler, I had to laugh when I saw one of your sigs. Indeed, the cake is a lie, but we do what we must because we can.
