I just got a used PACT Mk IV Championship Timer & Chronograph (not the latest XP model) without instructions and the buzzer doesn't.
The XP model's instructions (available on-line) are different enough that I can't figure out how to turn the buzzer on. Maybe it's internal and I have to open it up, like I'm going to do for my skyscreen spacing anyway.
So, anyone have some instructions they can send my way? I was just looking to replace the chronograph but saw a chance to get the timer functions, too.
(BTW, I could use a skyscreen housing or two, not a whole 4-pack...anyone have a spare or two of the Model 5 version they want to sell?)
Thanks!

You might want to contact Pact. I believe they have a lifetime warranty. I'm sure they would send you a manual. I just looked through my manual and can't find anything about turning on or off the buzzer, so ther may be a problem with yours.

PACT is closed all weekend and their website doesn't have instructions AND they don't use e-mail in their "contact us".
Brian Enos' site has instructions for the latest XP variant but a Google Search with reasonable restrictions brought nothing useful.

I have the XP. You can adjust screen spacing without opening anything on the XP. I don't know anything about shutting the buzzer off either. You should be able to get it to buzz pretty easily. I don't have it or the instructions near me but I think hitting "timer" and "start" results in a buzz. Is the timer timing something (are there numbers?) If it's timing something without a buzz you have problems.
Give them a call. I bought mine used too, they sent me instructions for it for free.

I've got a MKIV and the buzzer recently stopped working on me. :(
I called PACT and they said to send it in, inc a check for $12.50 for return shipping and handling and there's usually about a 4 week turnaround.
They said the buzzer not working was a relatively rare problem, and it hopefully shouldn't happen again to me after they fix it.
