Send away for the $20 hard chromed slide. You will not get back the one currenty on your gun so maybe it will jam up on you.

Well, I did have to have mine (low SN#) rebuilt at the factory. Just put too many rounds through it, I guess. New frame shows no signs of wear, and is 100% reliable.
