I am new on here so I don't know if it's been done before, but, what is your favorite gun that you own. could be hunting rifle, shotgun, .22, handgun, revolver, hell even a grenade launcher! What's your most favorite gun(s) that you would never give up no matter what? PLEASE fell free to post some pictures. Also, if you could only stick to one brand of gun for the rest of your life what would it be? My favorite, or two of them, is my Ruger M77 Mkii Compact rifle chambered for 7mm-08. damn that thing is light! The other is my Baby Eagle Compact (all steel) in 9x19mm. Heavy but fun!:D My favorite .22, on the other hand, is my walther G22. Sure it may look like it was sent up from hell:evil: but it is one fine gun. I would have posted some pics but my camera died.

I think I would have to go with Ruger. They've got good rifles, expensive shotguns, decent revolvers, and even some autoloaders

That and you left off Sig.

Based on whats up there I'd have to go with CZ but it's not my first choice.

No Walther category? A day without Walthers is like a day without sunshine.

Although my actual favorite gun, as in, if I could only have one gun forever, is a Springfield M1.

Colt makes 1911s and AR-15s, two of my favorite firearms. I could be satisfied with them.

CZ makes fine rifles and pistols and has the Dan Wesson pistols. And the VZ-58. I could go with them, too.

Marlin makes very nice levers (although I am hearing some worrying reports about their latest production??)

Remington, Savage, S&W, Ruger, and Kel tec are also good, but I don't care for the rest.

As much of a GLOCK fan that I am, I'd have to go with Smith.
One company would have to be a mfg that makes them all rifles, shotgun, revolver, semi-auto.

Smith would be my go to then.

Savage Shooter
March 24, 2008, 10:22 PM
My name may be savage shooter and I love them to death my first pick for a bolt gun... but I have to go winchester I'm a lever man at heart. too many john wayne movies I guess.:D:D:D. just something about the feel of a good winchester lever ah .

March 24, 2008, 10:27 PM
Ehh winchester :neener:. Marlin is the way to go for a lever:cool:

XD-40 Shooter
March 24, 2008, 11:28 PM
One brand, across the board, rifles, revolver, and auto's, I'd have to say Ruger. They've got pretty good rifles, awesome revolvers, and above average autoloaders.:D

My two favorite guns in my collection : Yugo SKS and XD-40.:)

Smith and Wesson 625 revolver. Closely followed by my Weatherby Vanguard in 7 Mag. I wouldn't want to be without either.

My head just exploded!:what:

Far too hard a decision for me. I've spent years reserching and trying out different rifles, handguns, and shotguns to find what's best for "me".

It would be impossible to pick just one manufacturer. But if I haad to ch...ch...chooooo.....choooooose just one....

*head explodes*

One manufacturer, I'd have to say Browning. Various caliber semi-auto pistols, various caliber bolt rifles, various caliber semi rifles, even belt-fed rifles. Surprised no one mentioned FN. My favorite guns I own are my 1919A4 in 308, Browning Buckmark 22 rifle, and my Cobb BA50 50 BMG with 10 rd detachable mag and 22" barrel.

Stag and glock, those are the two I stand by.

Firepower!
March 26, 2008, 04:02 AM
It seems like you are asking for firearm which includes rifles shotguns and handguns.

1. But since you posted the poll under Rilfe Country: I voted other because I like AK47/AKSU74.
a)If you meant semi auto then Bushmaster, and
b)If you meant bolt action then Holland & Holland.

2. But if your intention was handgun, I have a poll out there under the heading Just One Handgun. I voted Glock there and so did most of the voters.
a)If you meant pistol then my vote is for Glock, and
b)If you meant revolver then my votes is for Ruger ONLY because Colt has stopped snake series and no more new choices available there.

3. And if you intention is shotgun, I would have still voted other because if just one then it has to be either James Purdy or Holland and Holland.
a) If you meant pump actions then my vote is for Benelli, and
b) If you meant select fire/semi then my vote would be for USAS-12 or AA12 both select fire 12 guages.
