New toy - and initial 10 yard groups are promising - 5 shot groups look like either 2 or 3 shots were fired, one hole of course. It's a model 52 RWS/Diana. I'm very pumped. Have wanted one for years. :) I had actually planned on getting it in .22, but at the last minute changed mind and stuck with the .177.

Nice looking airgun! What kind of scope are you using?
Let us know when you iron her out. :neener:
Sorry, I couldn't let that one go. :D

Yes, test it out (on paper) and tell us what it does. BTW, I'd also like to know more about the optics.

OK, I'll let ya's know how it shoots in more detail later. Oh, the scope is a cheapie BSA 2-7x, adj. obj, Millett rimfire rings. Works well though. The BSA does have 1/4 minute clicks with target knobs, and is made FOR airguns - important for the weird 2-way recoil of spring piston guns like this side cocker, or break-levers. Oh yeah, lol, I bought that ironing board even though I don't iron things cuz my GF was beetchin about needing one. Now that the GF and me have split up, glad I could find another use for it - photo display surface. Did I mention I love this rifle? :D

Here's my second attempt at a 10-shot group, at what I pace off as 9-9.5 yards, no wind (except ceiling fan), 10.5 gr Crosman "Premier Field Target Pellets", whatever that means, .177. Would have been good but for that one high flier you see - not as good as the 5-shot groups - 10 shots is hard to prevent a flier. Anyway, the trigger is still pretty terrible. I've been adjusting the screw that the manual says "Don't not adjust this screw - it is set at the factory and should not be moved" or some such. I'm messing with it since the other one is the first stage travel. I assume they put this language in for liability reasons, and also assume it's the trigger pull (doesn't say). The pull is pretty darn strong out of the box - we'll see how it gets as I adjust it.
[I tried to add photo with just an edit of old post but couldn't; hence the new]

Looks like death to pests to me. You won't be wasting many pellets.
