I just bought a Desert Eagle XIX .44 magnum with .357 magnum barrel/bolt. I took it to the range and it fired Remingtin, Winchester and Buffalo Bore ammunition very accurately.

Has anyone ever put together any reloads that work reliably in the DE, in either .357 magnum, or .44 magnum ?

Hook686,
I have a Desert Eagle XIX in .44 magnum and after much trial and error (I found the Desert Eagle to be pretty picky about what it likes to shoot) the only load that would function perfectly for me was: 240 grain Hornady XTP bullet, 11.6 grains of Unique (1243 f.p.s.) and winchester LP primers. Comfortable to shoot, very accurate, brass ejects back and slightly to the right. Hope this helps.
