Can someone give me a clue as to the date of mfg for a 38/44 HD with a serial number of S 752XX. The closest I've come is the period 1946-58.

And while you're at it, a second one of the same model with a serial number of S 865XX.

Would either be considered a Model 20???

s752xx would be 1950 and s865xx would be 1952 both would be pre model 20 or Heavy Duty 38/44s
