One of the very few gripes I have about Benelli shotguns is their tiny bolt release. The best replacement I've found is one made by Clifford Bryant. It's big, it's steel, it's easy to install, and it costs just $50 for the entire assembly. That approach lets you restore the shotgun to original condition if you ever change your mind.

Bryant's "tactical" bolt release is sold by Tac 2. It's available for the M1, M2, M3, M4, and Super Black Eagle.

Here's the link: http://shop.tac2.com/product.sc?productId=1&categoryId=2

Here's what it looks like:

Keep in mind that this is the entire assembly, so it includes the carrier latch, button and screw to attach the button to the latch. All you'll see when you install it is the button and screw. The ugly thing to the left of it in the above photo is the latch: it goes inside the receiver. No big deal to install it, but you need the proper size rollpin punch to remove the factory latch and replace it with the one shown. Call Bryant and ask for quicky instructions if you need them. Or get a decent gunsmith to do the work for you. It shouldn't cost much.
