I tried searching for this, but I wasnt able to find anything helpful. I was wondering if its possible to shoot out to about 100 yards using bead sights with slugs. If not whats a decent range for using slugs with bead sights?

You can hit with slugs pretty well out around 50-75 yds with a bead sight. Slug sights [rifle type] are better but with a bit of practice you can hit at 100 with a bead.
Get a bunch of boxes of slugs and some sheets of cardboard or paper and just go out and shoot offhand at different ranges. Have fun and pay attention to how the slugs act at the different ranges, you also will need to learn how to lead a target...but that comes later.
I dropped a nice whitetail doe with my old Savage 12ga. when I was 13 with a singe well placed slug at a real range of 90yards.

The best way to get the 'feel' of your gun is to shoot it a LOT!
Good luck!

I hit a pad-lock at 40 yards with my BPS 12 gauge/bead sight, croched using winchester rifled slugs, so id say it would be no problem making shots 100 yards.. ( my browing has a 30in barrel )

Some people do well with just the bead. I have to limit myself to about 40 yds. A middle bead on the rib also helps. Lining up the two beads helps you keep things a little more centered. Lots of practice will tell you at what distances you can be accurate.

I'll go along with Oldnamvet. I dropped a doe last fall at about 60 yds with a Benelli SBE. Out at 100 yds the front bead may start to cover to much of the target.

With practice, most folks do OK out past 50 yards with a bead and slugs.

The key phrase there is "With practice".

Reasonable accuracy is possible. my buddy is a damn slug machine with his using bead sight he can hit a large paper plate at 100yds.

100 maybe 125 anything past that and you need someone that knows shotguns way better than me. Also the rounds start hitting the ground at about 175 meters.

50 yards is MY limit with my plain beaded-only Maverick 88.
