Hi All,
I've been hanging around the fourm for a long time and thought some might be able to help me out. I would like very much to pursue the NRA shotgun instructors course. I'm trying to find a NRA Training Counselor in the Northern Indiana area. The NRA site is not very helpfull nor is the number that is posted on their site. I don't expect to find someone way up here, but some where around a 100 miles or so.....
Anyone know of any?
Thanks

I hear ya about the # on their website .. I called it entered the info it asked for and it said 4 to 6 weeks for a list to be generated and sent out ....
I found by accident a Training Counselor ... near me .. he suggested I take each of the courses I was thinking about teaching
so maybe if you find an NRA instructor and talk to them

Asuming that you have tried
http://www.nrahq.org/education/training/find.asp
they update it once a week if they have new classes, got to watch it and may take a while before you have a class that is one near you and two the one you want.

NRA Training Counselors and Instructors operate independently of the NRA in terms of their course offerings, schedules, fees, and how they promote their courses. They don't work for the NRA and the NRA doesn't control them. Listing on that link to http://www.nrahq.org/education/training/find.asp is voluntary. At any time there are more courses than are listed on that link.
Check with your local clubs, ranges, and other groups. Many Instructors and Training Counselors promote courses through them. I see that only one person in Indiana lists on that link. You might want to contact him through his e-mail address there to see if he can point you in the right direction.
