Well. I was out scouring the local pawn and gun shops yesterday and walked out of one with a brand spanking new (to me anyways) Charles Daly DDA 10-45 compact version.
I have been looking for a .45 ACP for a while now but couldnt afford them but I was able to get this one for $250 out the door.
So I cot him to throw in a couple of boxes of mag-tech .45 ammo and headed to the range.
I have to say....I LOVE THIS GUN. It shoots to POA and just feels PERFECT in my hands. Plus it will be small enough to CCW. I also love how the controls are just like those on my CZ-75B which is probably my favorite 9mm of all time.
Any recommendations on any thing to have done to it? I know that the rear site is a polymer that is screwed to the slide. Is there any way to change this out? It works fine but would be nice to know i can change it if need be.
To anyone out there looking for a sweet and inexpensive .45 ACP I say go and find one of these. I know they are discontinued but I believe that BUL still makes them correct?

Congratulation, Harry!

For that price with the ammo, did he call the cops after you left the store...? :D
