I've shopping around for a shotgun for HD. Saw an add in the local bargain paper there was a Rem Wingmaster 12ga 28" barrel 2 3/4 chamber. The guy wants 300 bucks. I can pickup an 18" barrel for HD. But 300 sounds like too much for this wingmaster. What do you think?

For $300 it should darn near be new condition and purty as a speckled pup.
Beaters around here still can be found under $200 at times, and WMs can sometimes be found that are 40 years old and NIB. That one was $225,IIRC.
If it speaks to you, get it....

I'm going to take a look at it. But I doubt I would pay 300 for it. Just saw another one on Gunsamerica for 215 bucks.

Also look at the choke. If it has screw in chokes then it is newer and definately worth $300. If it is an older model with fixed choke, Mod is more useful than Full.
