Would like to find out year of Manufacture for a Colt New Frontier Buntline .22 , 7 1/2" Barrel , Non- Caseharden Serial G2231XX .

Smith Wesson 25-5 45 Colt , 4" Barrel Serial A UC7075 .

Reference the Colt Peacemaker 22. If your serial number posted is correct and it's a six digit number with a G prefix, then some one with more references tha I will have to give you the answer. My information only gos to 1976 and G198733
The S&W, Well doggone, Prefix ACU is not listed in the S&W book either Perhaps Old Fluff can help,

G2231XX was made in 1984.
The numbers that year ran from G215660 to G225043.

Thx. Ron and dfariswheel on the Colt Info . The A in the S&W serial , i am not for sure . The is a A then a space before the UC
