Alright guys. I have been fascinated by the Aguila mini-slugs since they came out and I have not started loading shotgun yet to experiment with my own shorter slugs. I know that these Aguila shells only fire consistently in the Winchester 1300's but I love Remingtons. I am now looking at a fifty year old Remington Wingmaster made to fire 2 3/4 or smaller shells. Would this shotgun handle 1 3/4 shells well? :what:

Try it and write up a range report. :)

Probably not.

I have run some 2 1/2" shells, 2.25" before firing, and they cycled well thorugh various 870s..

The mini shells do not pattern well, glitch in most shotguns and really do not offer much other than novelty.

If we had the SMG they were intended for, that would be fun, though.
