How does it compare to Vithavouri? Rifle calber hand loading for accuracy currently. :)

HI.
I´m Luis from Spain.
Here we have vectan powder and I can to say that this is the best that we can use (buy) to reload pistol and revolver anmunition.
This powder are very accurate and powder measure work very well with it.
I reload 9mm (Ba 9), 38 sp and 32 S&W Long (BA 10). I don´t reload this powder in rifles ctg. because I don´t have this, but i know that it´s good too.

Luis.. I am in France... and load primarily rifle. Most times Vithavouri is difficult to come by and amrecian powders almost impossible.
I appreciate and information and advice I can get.

What do you typically use... and which reloading manuals?

Hello.
I use vectan reloading table´s web, it´s good and you can reload all calibers and weight bullet.
Usually I reload:
9 mm, 125 grains lead bullet RN, LTC at 28.7 mm, 4.3 grains BA9, fiocchi brass.
9mm, 115 grains lead bullet SWC, ltc 28 mm, 4.5 grains BA9, fiocchi brass.
38 sp, 148 grains lead bullet WC, 2.1 grains BA10, bullet all inside brass.
32 S&W long, 95 grains lead bullet WC,1.0 grains BA10, bullet all inside brass.

The only Vectan I have is SP2. SP2 has been widely used in loads to make major with .355/.356 bore see e.g. Brian Enos forum for extensive discussion.

I am looking to load it if i can buy it. in the uk hodgdon powders are $70usd per lb viht is upto $80 but vectan around $50. it is a bit dificult to get though.
