Purchase new 870 Police

My tax refund check is due any day now and I desire a new 870P shotgun. My understanding is they are only available from Remington LE distributors and I'll need to ship it to my California FFL.

My local FFL charges extra bucks for a dealer to dealer transfer. Makes finding the lowest prices important.

So the question is: Who's got the best prices on Remington 870 Poice shotguns?

Your local dealer can order direct from one of the Remington LE distributors.

This might be cheaper in the long run.
There are few to no real "deals" on the internet on new Police guns.

As an aid to determine if your local dealer is "scalping" you, a standard Police 870 with an extended magazine, Walnut stock, and bead sight had a FFL Dealer cost of "about" $485.00 late last Fall.
That's "about" what the LE distributor will charge your local Dealer.
