I have used mil-surp powder, brass, and bullets. All worked fine.
All the powders I used were from www.gibrass.com as you can see on their website, they give you some idea of what loading data to use. Some of the powders are the same as some other civilian powder, one I use starts at 10% of 4198...........
The brass usually comes in a couple grades; processed or unprocessed meaning the primer pocket crimp intact, or removed. Priced accordingly.
The bullets usually come in several grades also; with or without pull marks. I have never really done any serious accuracy testing, really the only thing I ever bought was some tracer. They light up, I didn't shoot them on paper.

I have been shooting a bunch of the pulled bullets as of late in my L1A1 and get fine accuracy from them.

thanks for the info, the reason i asked was because gibrass is only about 30 minutes from where i live and this would save me all the shipping and hanleing charges. good to know you were happy with their products.
