If it became law that no one could own guns, & you were told to go get them, knowning that the person you were told to get, abided the law every other way, would you go in & be ready to shoot if he resisted?

I might not agree with the law (were I an LEO) and thus might not go out and enforce it.

Were I to enforce it and someone shot at me whilst I was doing my job I would return fire.

It will never come to this. The Antis will not allow it. The violators of such laws will be accounted for in a piecemeal fashion. It will be done in a manner that will not scream "GUN-SWEEP!". Many gun owners will learn to conceal the fact and counter the threat, which is counter-productive in the end.

I fear it is not the LEOs we need fear, but the enertia of those who should "attack" the root cause. If Tyranny is in effect, attack the Tyrant directly.

It may be that LEOs are the tool and shall reap the bitter fruit. But, the Tyrant is the main focus.

Naturally, were I a LEO, I would have an enertia of my own to overcome. It is not an easy thing to do, surrendering your means to provide for hearth and family. I would hope a man would have the guts to do what is Right, but I reserve my confidence, until proven in fact, that a man will throw away a 19 year investment willy-nilly. Pensions are a curse in their own light.
