I have gotten all of my cases prepped, and they are ready to be reloaded. I was wondering your opinion on this load:
I have an AR-15 24" barrel, with a 1 in 9 twist.
I was thinking of starting with a 69 grain Sierra Matchking, and H335 powder.
I have heard a lot of good things about the sierra bullets, and From what I understand, H335 is good for both .223 and .308, which is the next gun I will be reloading for. ( DMPS LR308)
Is there a different bullett and powder combination that would be better for a beginner?
I am also not sure on what primer to go with ( I know I am suppose to use small rifle primers), but is there a particular primer that would work best for me given the paramaters above?
