I have a Taurus M44 44 mag. I was just curious, can I shoot the Garrett 310 grainers in my revolver?
My gun is a:
Taurus M44 44mag with 6in ported barrel.

I think you probably can. The 330-gr. +P .44 mag ammo is limited to Rugers only. However, you should ask that question of Mr. Garrett yoyrself. BTW, he makes some great ammo. Stout does not begin to describe it.

I don't see why not. The Ruger only stuff is just because of over all length. Ruger 44's have a slightly longer chamber and allow the use of longer bullets. The 330's are too long for most other 44's. Garret's pressures are within industry specs.

Can I shoot the 330-grain 44 Magnum Hammerhead Ammo in Ruger Super Blackhawk, Colt Anaconda, Taurus, or Smith & Wesson revolvers?

No, our 330-grain ammo generates too much pressure for those guns, and is recommended for use only in Ruger Redhawks, Super Redhawks, and Dan Wesson revolvers. For all other revolvers we recommend our SAAMI pressure-compliant 310-grain Hammerhead Ammo, the only SAAMI pressure-compliant 1200 ft/lb ammo on the market.

Can I shoot the 330-grain 44 Magnum Hammerhead Ammo in a Freedom Arms revolver?
No. Although strength is not an issue, the Freedom Arms revolver uses a cylinder that is too short for use with our long 330-grain Hammerhead Ammo.

Oh welll, least I was half right. Thanks for the info! Never realized his stuff was over pressure.

I bought some 310 grainers for my Super Blackhawk and T/C contender....I also bought their 250 gr. self defense ammo...........expensive, but, will use it sparingly......I don't see it advertised on their website any longer.........

AFAIK Buffalo Bore still offers a 255 WFN load similar to the 250 grain load.
