I made this gun rack for myself and thought they might be something others here might be interested in. This was my first one so it's not perfect but its functional. Let me know what you you guys think. If enough people like I may make some more.

Nice design. If you would take custom measurements from people, you could branch into making those for the top shelf of people's gunsafes or whatnot.

I like it. However, I would rather be able to reach in and grab the pistol by the grips. I am not overly crazy about the 3 pointing straight up in the air with the trigger guard being the first thing I put my hand on.

I'm kind of thinking along the same lines as Neener Neener; I would rather handle the guns by their grips rather than in the position you have them. I think I would rather see a design that used varying lengths of dowel rods ,angled down slightly, to place the gun barrels on. Just my thoughts, but your rack is also very functional and well designed. Very nice work.

I may take custom orders at some point, but for now I am going to do a run of about 5 of these to see how it goes and if I can streamline the process. I do have plans to make a rack for longer guns and also one that the guns are sitting grips out but since I only have these guns to use as my guides its kind of hard to get right. I will keep you posted if I make any more.

I think this would be great. The top shelf of my safe is less than optimal for storing handguns as is.

pretty nice, i'm also interested...just curious, how did you decide on the number of "slots" on the rack?

it might just be me, but i believe it would market better as either a 5 or 7 gun rack

Thats why I made this. I was not gonna pay $20+ for some cheap wire crap. Plus I figured it would sit nice in the top of the safe. I am working on 5 of them now and hope to have them ready soon. As far as why I chose 6 slots, not sure. Just wanted some room to grow and I can always have a few of these in the safe as I get more guns.
