Hey all, I have a question that hopefully someone has an answer. I have a DPMS AR Low Pro Classic, 16" Bull (.970 barrel) that I put a Hogue free float tube on a bunch of years back. How do I mount a bipod to the free float tube. Specifically what parts will work. I have seen a few units that clamp to the barrel but that is pointless. What I would like to do is find the right parts to add a rail to the float tube so I can mount the bipod. No problem with the drilling and taping, can do that. Just cannot find a system that has what I need to do it. Thanks in advance for your help. Bill

I think all you need to do is drill & tap for a QD sling stud.
They make all kinds of bi-pods that attach to that.

Alternately, you could mount a short section of Picitenny rail on the forearm and get a bi-pod that clamps to that.
