For CCW: Trying to decide between Kahr CW45 and Sig P239/9mm

Which one would you prefer as a concealed carry piece?

Despite the chambering advantage of the Kahr, the Sig is a far better piece and would be my choice.

I love my P239! It carries better than my G23, and you literally forget you have it in your pants:D Very accurate, 100% reliable, fast follow up shots. No dealings with the Kahrs, I'm sure there great little weapons, but never shot one.

Count me among the folks who have had bad experiences with KAHR so I have to go with the P239. I have a .40 and with the right holster will disappear not to mention that it shoots like a full size. Great gun the P239.

I own an MK9 and a 239 9mm. The only time the MK9 would be chosen over the 239 is for pocket carry. The 239 carries just fine. I think both guns are accurate, with a noticeable advantage to the 239 (it's a sig, c'mon), so the only thing I use the MK9 for is size, and given that the CW45 is closer to the size of the P239, you're better off served getting a P239.

That's my recommendation. Though I own a 239 9mm, I also want one in 357sig; you might look into that too.

I have the 239 in 357 Sig and I have carried it on a near daily basis; I sometimes carry a alloy 1911 gov't instead. I believe the holster and carry style will have as big a role as the actual weapon. I use a MS VM II for tucked IWB. I enjoy the 239 but am also interested in the Kahr PM 45 for the weight savings.

Sounds like you made up your mind, but count me as a Sig vote as well.
I carry a P239 SAS 9mm.

I have a Sig P239 in 9mm and a Kahr MK9, which is slightly smaller than the CW45. Both are excellent guns, but I always go with the Sig if concealment is no problem with what I am wearing, and use the Kahr for situations where concealment is more difficult. I like the reliability and accuracy of the Sig, as well as its greater capacity (8+1) compared to the Kahr (6+1). I feel more confident that I can hit my target at a distance with the Sig.
