Due to the recent announcement, I think that they are available (or soon to be) but not yet in the catalogs. DPMS is selling rifles, Hornady developed the ammo with Creedmore... I would check the usual suspects - Brownells, Midway, Hornady, and Creedmore. Also Sinclaire might pick up on this one, as it's more a competitive shooter's cartridge.

I'm with you, a 6.5 creedmore topped my acquisition list on announcement!

I don't think I'll be getting rid of my 260 Rem. tooling anytime soon.

Indeed. Does this actually offer any *real* benefits over .260 aside from it being available in a few guns that the .260 doesn't come in from the factory?

Sounds like another Hornady "Must-have-super-innovative-cartridge-of-the-year-of-the-week" invention.

Seems that it allows better seating options for the longer 140 grain bullets and still fit in the 308 length envelope. Same overall performance as the 260 Rem, BUT better brass availability and quality.
