Hey all,
First, sorry, no pictures.
Ok, so I bought a used West German SIG P220 about six months ago and, due to several work trips, emergencies and bad weather never really had much of a chance to get it out to the range. Until this weekend.
My family, a few friends, and I took the SIG, my dad's new Walther p99, a CZ 75, a Colt 1911 (don't remember exactly which model) and my GP 100 down to our field and spent the afternoon blasting assorted soda cans, water bottles, jugs, etc.
We started off with the various 9mm's and the Colt and everyone was having various levels of success (we're not all that great of shooters yet) until I finally brok out the SIG. At about 15 meters it seemed like NO ONE could miss with that darn thing, even my dad was popping cans like they were nothing. Everyone was pretty darn amazed at how accurate and comfy that thing was to shoot. I was pretty proud, as it was the gun of the day (followed closely by that Colt, damn fine gun it was) and may have convinced both my cousin and brother that they needed .45's.
So, its fair to say that I've been pretty happy with my P220, and now I've got that bug again, gotta get it out more. Also, gotta finally get my reloading rig set up, spent quite a bit of brass out there.
