I think the Wolf Gold ammo uses the commonly reloaded primer system, while the regular Wolf ammo uses the hard to reload primer system. I know the names for these two primer systems, but it is early in the morning and my brain is giving me the finger right now.

7.62x39 Wolf ammo uses a steel case. It is not reloadable.

steel cases can be reloaded once or twice.
check out the tutorials on ar 15.com
however 7.62X39 is beridian primer, and thus not reloadable

Berdan primed cases like Wolf, and steel cases like Wolf, both present a lot of problems for the reloader.

Can it be done?
Yes!

Is it worth the trouble?
No, not as long as you can get Boxer primed brass cases in that caliber.

it might be worth reloading 7.62 as the 308 version and 39 versions are very expensive for brass right now.
i would be loading 7.62X39 steel cased if it had boxer primed, but unfortunately it does not.

I was just wondering.. I have about 8 boxes of the stuff unfired and was considering trading it off seeing how I don't have anything that shoots the stuff...

I've reloaded Berdan-primed, steel-cased 7.62x39. If you have the primers, it's just one more step.
