Ain't that the truth. We were stuck in the snow on a pass at 12000' close to Durango, elk hunting. Some guys drove up, and a friend of mine asked what part of south Texas they were from. When they asked how he knew they were from S. Texas, he just said "snake boots".

LOL! Well, the only other boot that compares down here is those white rubber boots the shrimpers all wear. We call 'em "Seadrift Ropers". LOL! Anyone that works or plays in the field this time of year is wearing snake boots or at least leggings and good sturdy leather boots. It's the self preservation instinct.
