I am hosting a "pistol fun" night next week at my shooting club. We do not have any organized events for hand guns. I am looking for suggestions. I'd like something formal like IDPA but open to all calibers, six guns and semi-automatics.

plate shoot, if you have 2 sets would be fast & fun for 2 shooters at a time. awards for elimination and/or fastest clean shoots

That or a steel plate "dueling tree". Of course you'd need at least a .38 to participate. I don't think a lower caliber would swing the plates. maybe thay make on in .22?

Maybe some slow fire, longer range silhouette style shooting for those who aren't into the speed games.

if you cant get plates, 2x4's will last a while. a long range competition could be fun, but maybe more frustrating.

do a combo of the Post Your Targets. Combine them and have an overall score.
