I just recently found a brand new leatherman Supertool 200.
The store is asking $80 for it.
Is it worth the money or would I be better off buying a newer model?

If your not in a super hurry to get one, wait till after Xmas. Walmart usually does a after xmas clearance on various leatherman tools. I scored a leatherman blast and c301 pocket knife blister pack for under $20.00. They had a huge rack full of them.

If you have a compact single or double stack auto, the case makes a great mag carrier at an excellent price - $5.00 plus s/h.

You could probably put together a fine condition used one on eBay for a quarter to a third of the price.

I would only get a Super Tool 200 if the price was way lower than that of a Leatherman Core (the ST200's replacement). I've owned both, and the Core has improved locks that are much easier to use than the ones on the ST200. Other than that they are very similar - same size, similar tool selection, and the Core can be found online for $60 or less. Unless you are looking for something specific that the Super Tool 200 has that the Core doesn't, I wouldn't bother with the Super Tool.
