That's what I thought, but the slide in the picture at the bottom of the page clearly says PM40. The spare magazine in the picture is a P40 Covert extended magazine too.

Dang! Was getting ready to go by a PM9.....maybe I'll wait and see how this one does on the market..I would prefer the extra thump for my pocket blaster!

I've owned and shot a KelTec P40 for years. I would imagine the Pm40 has at least that much kick. A hand full.

I have a Kahr K40 and I wouldn't want to go any smaller and lighter than that in a .40. I don't find the recoil that bad from the K40, but my old elbows will be aching after 50 rds. The PM40 recoil would have to be like a light weight .357 magnum revolver.

I wonder if the P40 Covert would be that much easier to shoot.

My P40 has alot healthier recoil than my PM9, and I have shot Corbon in both. I actually think the PM9 is kind of a pussycat, but after 50 rounds in the P40, you can feel it later in the hand. Not pain, but you know you have shot it with some good loads.

On second thought it wouldn't make much sense with such a short barrel. Alot of noise and not much (if any) gain in velocity over 9mm +P+ with one fewer round.

That Kahr for sale is probably their P-40 "Covert" model, which has a longer barrel and frame then the PM9. Kahr sells both the P9 and P40 "Covert" models with longer barrels. I believe this series was Kahr's first attempt with polymer frames.

That's just the number of hits on all of their auctions since a certain time period. Check the number of hits on their other auctions and you'll see what I mean. In reality the auction probably has 100 hits since they put it up.

Hello. I've been looking on THR for a while now but finally have something worth saying;) .

The Kahr PM40 is real. I picked up mine today. I called Kahr on Wednesday just to make sure the dealer wasn't pullin' my leg......they said their website hasn't been updated yet to include the PM40. They have shipped a few out though.

I will post pictures sometime this weekend and give a full review soon.....

I'm sure it will be heavy, but yet on the other hand I'm sure it won't be any heavier than shooting 210gr. .41mags out of a 19oz Taurus titanium snub like I used to do. :D

They are popping up for sale and yes, they are PM's.

IMO, I don't think the frame can take it. My covert was 9mm and warped all to hell after some range time.

However , a PM-10 WOULD be cool. :uhoh:
