I just read this signature line from a moderator over at the Alaska Outdoors Forum.

Hunt not with a gun big enough for what you are hunting. Hunt with a gun big enough for what might be hunting you.

LOL Well, fortunately, there ain't much around here a .308 can't handle. :D I'm more worried about people than animals. But, I guess that's everywhere.
