HI All, I am looking at a NIB Trooper MKIII, serial number 50436L. At least that is the number given by the owner stated in his email. Can anyone shed some light on the year of mfg. please. Further, he is asking $680, is this a bit high or have I become out of touch. I am in shock to see the price of Diamondbacks in .38 so I may be stuck in first gear! Bruce, IMO $680 is too much for a NIB Trooper MKIII, unless it's nickel, .22 caliber, and has a 8" barrel.

Thanks for the heads up, it's been so long since I've seen one NIB I have no bench mark to judge this price.

That is a tad high on the price end. I feel sure that the price is headed in that direction in the coming year(s). So, it's your call.

It would help if you described it. I'm not going to go through every possible variation in terms of value.

It is a 1979 gun since no one has provided that infomation to you.
