Teflon through a Glock?

Greetings. What are your takes on using teflon coated reloads through your Glock?I ask coz it seem an ideal alternative to using lead and FMJs have the potential to wear out a barrel(if possible) faster than lead which I have read on several threads.
Has anyone tried this?

Isn't that like unkosher or something? Can't cook an animal in the milk of its mother or something is what I think it falls under.

bartv,
FWIW, I was told at my last Glock armorer's course that it is impossible to wear out a Glock barrel due to the tennifer finish on the inside of the barrel. I don't have any first hand knowledge on teflon coated bullets.

If you can afford to shoot enough to wear out a barrel, then you can afford to replace the barrel with a conventionally rifled unit, and shoot lead. :)
How much more expensive are teflon reloads?
