It looks kind of like the Pedersoli Mang Target Pistol sold by Dixie.
How much did it cost you?

the seller said itīs stamped
"Paul Jacobi" a german company from Iserlohn.
it cost me 55 Euro - so around 85$.
i like the shape of the grip.
The loading rod is missing and replaced by
one made from aluminum.
i liked that in particilar - as iīve broken
the one from my longrifle as well and wanted
to do exactly the same.
...furniture will be blackened, so my two .45s
look the same.
( then i need those weaver-mounts and red-dot sights,
and it will be a mean picture :) )
Cheers & a nice Weekend to all,

Man, that thing looks like fun. Is there a reliable source for them, and how is the price for ammo? I know where to get BP and BP= but what about roundballs?

rounballs can be bought almost anywhere. average is 9.00 per hundred. a heck of a lot cheaper if you cast your own though

That's quite a combination: Saw-handle grip, rifle-type adjustable rear sight, and double set triggers. I've never seen all of that in the same package.
Intriguing.

I don't know a thing about that. To me it looks like someone cut up a TC senica and made a hand gun of it.
The reason i am posting at all, is to warn you to not get 'to happy' and over load it.
That straight wood grain running thru the wrist can shear on recoil, if it gets to be out of hand too much.

The gun is an Ardesa, they call it The Patriot. Jacobi is the German distributer. Traditions is the US distributer and it is known as the Trapper.
