Help on Shooter's Ridge Bipod

I purchased a shooters ridge 6'-9' bipod early this afternoon. Im having a hell of a time mounting it on a 93R17-F Savage with Sling Swivel. Any ideas to what the problem is? My only thought is it was a returned item with missing pins in which to secure to stud.:banghead:. Anyone with similar problems or thoughts. Help is greatly appreciated.

My assumption was correct, and after exchaning the bipod I realized it is one of the simplest additions that one could make to a gun. The old unit looked as if someone had simply yanked the bipod off of his/hers swivel stud.:scrutiny: and returned it back to the store.
