Guys, educate me on the kerambit. I am selling some knives and one of them is a kerambit. I know nothing of them other than its wicked and reminds me of the knife my mom used in the grape fields in Fresno, but this one is a folder.

I'm selling MTech's kerambit. It is probably nothing compaired to Emerson's or Tarani's kerambits... those guys are both something else. But this knife is only 20 bucks.
It's a heavy, solid, tank-like folder. The lock up is very solid. One of the strongest for a liner lock. In fact, some are even hard to unlock when new. G-10 scales. Pretty sharp blade. The pocket clip is oriented point down so it carries like a normal folder. The pictures make it look small, but it's actually big and beefy. Fills my hand.
Mine has the black coated blade. I've also ground down the G-10 along the edges to contour the grip so it feels better in the hand. I also polished the friction bearing surfaces inside, so it opens real smooth with the thumb, or easily with a snap of the wrist. Pretty dang good for only 20 bucks in my opinion... not as expesive as the other Kerambits. Probably not as good either, but it's still a good knife.
I've been practicing with it, and funny... I have the same mark on my wrist as yours. Exactly. Bled like broken milk jug. Super glued it shut and it's fine now. I don't think I am going to be trying that move again!
As for the flipping routine... it looks very flashy and cool. But I think my technique will be snapping it open like I do with a normal folder and just using it in a reverse grip.
As a utility knife, it's great for gardeners. With the pinky through the ring you can work your plants, and then flip it up to trim a twig, harvesting a veggie or making a splice... I've done this and it worked perfectly. Not to undermine any tactical use or anything, it's just a real useful knife for certain applications.
Watching those Emerson video clips. Whoa! That guy is fast!
