CHILDREN MARCH up Broad Street yesterday to kick off a campaign to collect toy guns from kids - in an effort to curb youth violence with real handguns. The march was part of the annual Youth Summer Non-violence Campaign, organized by the City Wide Improvement & Planning Agency, a community organization serving the youth of North-central Philadelphia. In other words, a captive group of children used as pawns or props for some leftist agenda. :fire:

And how exactly, does this result in less violence? Guess we should have asked Iraq to turn in all of their CS grenades in an effort to curb their violence with real WMD. Perhaps if North Korea handed over their xray machines, they wouldn't want nuclear weapons any longer.

Also gets kids used to the idea that giving up guns to the gummint is A-OK.
To be fair, gun violence is a problem in the inner city, and these kids are right in wanting to do something about it, but they're being fed the same leftist nonsense that banning guns=less crime.:banghead:

What a good way to get the people used to surrendering their arms. Get 'em while they're young . . .

If they want to have a march against toy guns, why not use little toy soldiers as the marchers?

Better real guns for children than toy guns: guns, after all, aren't toys.

You know, why don't they just make being boys illegal? Castrate all male babies at birth, make testosterone a banned substance and charge anyone with a set of working testicles with "manufacturing a controlled substance?" That is really what the Idiot Left wants anyway, is a total emasculation of society. Of course, what totally escapes their narrow, cramped little pea-sized brains is that when testosterone is outlawed, only outlaws will have testosterone.

I really don't mind imbeciles and their children that much, I just wish they would stay out of sight and out of mind.

:cuss: losers.

I bet eventually, children will be raised by robots in a white, sterile room so as not to risk stimulating their imagination and/or sense of good vs bad.

Man, my 10 month old son whacked me over the head with the base to his stacking ring toy this morning, maybe they will ban these too and we will finally all be safe.
