You can often purchase them for a reasonable price through ebay.

That's a beautiful example of a fantastic revolver. Thanks for showing it to us!

I'd give my left nut for a tight 4" Model 58 with some holster wear already on it.

Yes of course the dies. Silly Wabbit.

Looks like you have all the goodies that came with the revolver. They are pretty.

Very Nice 57, you got a keeper there! Those 57's are not getting any easier to find especially with the 4" and the pres. box. Thanks for showing pics!

Thanks all. Since it came to me in such fine condition I mentally wrestle with shooting it. If it showed any use at all, it wouldn't be such a difficult decision. I've been offered a blue 6" version that is, if possible, in better shape, but the longer tubes just do not appeal to me on the same level as the 4" models.

Nice piece! Is someone offering a 6" at an appealing price?

Ken Dobbs, usually at the Nashville Fairgrounds Goodman Show. I believe he has something slightly south of 800 on it, (not including tax and nics) but it's blue is stunning w/ uncheckerd factory target grips. I swear the finish looks as nice as any royal blue python I ever saw.

Very nice find. Be aware that storing it in the "presentation box" can be bad as it will hold moisture next to the gun.

Drail,
No fear, my brother, the boxes are all stored seperately sans guns. The guns are on individual vinyl coated racks "safe" from contamination. Thanks for the "heads-up".

I used to feel the same way about the 6" tubes, that is until I got one in nickel.

I like the feel and the balance on the 6" one, but I really like the 4" also. I probably would not have gotten the 6" if it wasn't nickel.

My pair of Model 57's. Blue is a no dash, nickle is a -1.
