I'm installing a new set of Leupold 2-piece bases and dual dovetail rings on an A-Bolt in 300 WSM. Scope is a 3.5 - 10 x 50 Sightron.

Any thoughts as to what I should torque the base & ring screws to?

The gun store told me that 30 in-lbs on the base and 18 in-lbs on the rings would be about right. With Loctite, of course.

Any thoughts?
