I am looking for a ROA, stainless w, adjustable sights. Does anybody know where I could find one. My budget is $500. Thanks!!




PS.....there are a few stainless guns with non-adjustable sights floating around on the www. Can you put a rear adjustable sight on a ROA that has stock adjustable sights on it. Also, can the front sight be replaced. If so, I think I will just pick up one with non-adjustable sights and retro fit with the sights I would like.

You cannot retrofit front and rear adjustable sights onto a fixed sight ROA without some major work. You could send it out to a gunsmith, but it'll cost somewhere in the $100-200 range, I think, by the time you're done with parts and labor. Possibly more.

The usual sources for an ROA, which has been discontinued by Ruger, would be Gunbroker, Gunsamerica, Auctionarms, etc. Also, check the classifieds at Rugerforum.com.
